Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya is the 32nd Governor of Assam and he assumed his office on 30 July 2024. He was the governor of Sikkim prior to this appointment.
Prof. Jiten Hazarika, joined as the Vice-Chancellor of Dibrugarh University on 12 August, 2022. He is a Professor of Statistics.
