Dibrugarh University Alumni Association (DUAA)

One of the main purposes of Alumni Associations is to support a network of former graduates who will, in turn, help to raise the profile of the University. Alumni Associations aim to bring together like-minded individuals, with the purpose of fostering a spirit of loyalty and to promote the general welfare of an organization. Alumni associations exist to support the parent organization’s goals, and to strengthen the ties between alumni, the community, and the parent organization.

Recognizing that alumni of an University offer a great diversity of talents, skills and abilities, which should be acknowledged and engaged to benefit the present students and the Dibrugarh Universtiy as an Institution, the Association and one another, the Dibrugarh University Alumni Association (DUAA) was established in the year 2002. The Alumni Association seeks and strives to connect alumni, students and friends of the University to each other by providing programs and opportunities that connect alumni to each other and the Institution, as a whole.. The mission of the Dibrugarh University Alumni Association (DUAA) is to create a lifelong and worldwide community of alumni through increased opportunities for meaningful engagement in order to increase awareness, pride, participation, volunteer involvement, and philanthropic commitment.

The vision of the Dibrugarh University Alumni Association (DUAA) is to promote goodwill and a sense of pride to both alumni and students, besides helping and supporting the alumnus to develop and spread a philanthropic and entrepreneurial mind-set among students and also to advise and conduct activities for students that shall motivate and upgrade student skill sets.
