About

VISION

  • To become a model for quality higher education in India, particularly in Northeast India.
  • To assure that Dibrugarh University and higher educational institutes under it provide the best possible academic standards through quality evaluation.
  • To promote or ensure academic excellence and innovative curricula and co-curricular activities.
  • To uphold, imbibe, and disseminate high standards of quality culture within the University and affiliate colleges in harmony with societal upliftment and industry requirements.

MISSION

  • To develop an academic environment conducive to the promotion of quality of teaching-learning and research in higher education institutions
  • To encourage best cumulative scholastic and co-scholastic performance, innovation, and accountability in higher education
  • To collaborate with industry, civil society and other stakeholders of higher education to ensure the sustenance of quality evaluation.
  • To augment quality-enhancement measures through the adaptation of best practices of higher educational institutes.
  • To build a mechanism for systematic action to appraise and enrich quality academic and administrative operation of the institution.
  • To facilitate participatory teaching and learning processes with the provision of required planning and institutional support.

OBJECTIVES

The IQAC is to function as the nodal office to:

  • Conceptualize and execute plans for ensuring excellence in institution building for higher education.
  • Provide a sustainable mechanism for enduring self-evaluation, enhancement and implementation of quality initiatives to uphold the holistic academic performance of the institution.
  • Provide a platform for the participation of the larger institutional community through feedback and involvement to promote high-quality standards of the institute.
  • Ensure that the educational experience is student-centric, fostering their personal growth, self awareness, and leadership skill, along with academic achievements.
