As per the directives of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India and the Regional Directorate of NSS, The NSS PG Unit and NSS Cell Dibrugarh University celebrated a three-day programme called Diwali with My Bharat from 28th to 30th October 2024. Accordingly, as the third activity of the programme, the volunteers were engaged in hospital volunteering at AMCH, Dibrugarh. Around 30 volunteers participated in the programme. The volunteers helped the patients and volunteered to register and maintain queues in the hospital. The programme was organised under the guidance of Prof. Devid Kardong, Programme Coordinator of NSS Cell DU, and Dr. Amar Upadhyaya, programme officer of the NSS PG Unit, Dibrugarh University. Senior volunteers Mr. Kunal Agarwal, Mr. Kaustav Baruah, Parsa Das and Priyasmita Baruah led the volunteers during the programme.
