On September 20, 2024, Training & Placement Cell, Dibrugarh University in collaboration with the Academy of Civil Services, Dibrugarh, launched a free 80-hour coaching program for 53 selected students. The program, named the Beginners Course, aims to help students achieve success in all types of competitive examinations which mainly includes the UPSC, APSC & Govt. job exams.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Prof. Jiten Hazarika, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and teachers from various Departments and Centre for Studies. The students were shortlisted through an entrance examination.
The Beginners Course will provide students with comprehensive training in various subjects, including General Studies, English and Aptitude. The program will be conducted by experienced faculties from Academy of Civil Services, Dibrugarh.
This initiative by Dibrugarh University is a significant step towards providing quality education and opportunities to students from all backgrounds.
