On 24/08/2024 Department of Statistics, Dibrugarh University organised the 10th Awareness Program on the subject “Statistics “among Higher Secondary students of Najira Junior College and Sukapha Junior College of Simoluguri, Sivsagar at Swahid bhaban, Simoluguri. Dr. Partha Jyoti Hazarika, Dr. Kuki Kalpita Mahanta and Ms. Anupama Nandi, Assistant Professors, Department of Statistics act as Resource Persons in the program. Mr. Santanu Buraguhain, Principal, Najira Junior College and Pracident, Secretary and members of Simoluguri Regional unit of All Assam Student’s Union were also present in the program and offer their sincere gratitude to the faculties of Department of Statistics, Dibrugarh University for taking this initiative. Dr. Kuki Kalpita Mahanta coordinated the program and around 150 Higher secondary students participated in the program.
