Society of Exploration Geophysicist, Student Chapter, Dibrugarh University in collaboration with the Department of Applied Geology, Dibrugarh University organized a scientific lecture on “Amplitude variation with offset (AVO) techniques for hydrocarbon exploration” on 29th April, 2024. Mr. Binode Chetia, former Geophysicist, ONGCL delivered the lecture. Prof. Sarat Chandra Kakaty, Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering also attended the lecture. Mr. Chetia shared his vast experience on amplitude variation offset techniques in details with the students and faculties of the department.
