The Programme Officer of NSS PG Unit, Dibrugarh University Dr. Amar Upadhyaya was conferred with the State National Service Scheme (NSS) award for the year 2021-22 in the Programme Officer category during the Republic Day parade at Guwahati. Honorable Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma and Honorable Governor of Assam, Srijut Gulab Chand Kataria presented the award. Dr. Upadhyaya was selected for the award for his outstanding contribution in NSS activities. Moreover, Mr. Priyanus Hazarika, volunteer of NSS PG Unit of Dibrugarh University also received the State NSS Award 2021-22 in volunteer category.
