FIPI Dibrugarh University Student Chapter in collaboration with Department of Petroleum Technology, Dibrugarh University hosted Dr. Pankaj Tiwari, Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Guwahati as the resource person for a seminar on ‘Reservoir Simulation and Selection of suitable classification algorithm for prediction of EOR Method’ on 23rd November, 2023 at Department of Petroleum Technology, Dibrugarh University.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. (Mrs.) Subrata Borgohain Gogoi, Professor & Head, Department of Petroleum Technology and Dean, Faculty of Earth Sciences and Energy, Dibrugarh University and the welcome address was provided by Dr. Borkha Mech, Faculty Advisor of FIPI Dibrugarh University Student Chapter. The students were truly benefited with the insights of machine learning in EOR prediction methods in a detailed manner.
