As per the directives of Ministry Youth & Sports, Govt. of India and Regional Directorate, NSS Guwahati, the volunteers of NSS PG Unit, Dibrugarh University engaged themselves in the Swachhta 3.0 Campaign on 16th October, 2023. The programme was conducted in the Campus of Dibrugarh University. Dr. P. Sonowal, Registrar, D.U., Prof. S. Borkakoty, Dean, Student affairs, DU, Prof. D. Kardong, Programme Coordinator, NSS Cell, DU, Dr. D. Bhuyan, Chief Warden, D.U., Dr. P. Kalita, Programme Officer, NSS PG Unit D.U. were present during the programme. The programme was started with an oath taking ceremony. The oath on swachhata was taken by the volunteers. Around 90 Volunteers of NSS PG Unit collected approx. 50 Kg of single use plastics. The whole plan was executed under the guidance of Dr. Amar Upadhyaya, Sr. Programme Officer, NSS PG Unit, Dibrugarh University. The senior volunteers Trishamoyee Borah, Abnish Kumar Shah, Aminul Islam, Priyashmita Borah, Rushikha Deori and Kaustav Baruah made all necessary arrangements.
