The Centre for Studies in Philosophy, Dibrugarh University organized a Two Day Workshop on Art and Craft at Prerona Children Home, Dibrugarh on 22nd and 23rd June 2023. This was a part of Centre’s Outreach Programme, where a group of 11 nos. of students provided training on art and craft specially by using waste materials to the 27 nos. of children staying in the Orphanage. Moreover, the programme included performance of songs, dances, poem recitation and interactive session from both the children of Prerona Children Home and Students of the Centre. The students were guided by three Faculty Members of the Centre, Dr. Manashree Chetia, Dr. Kirtinath Kalita and Ms. Pinki Borah. The two day programme was concluded with the resolution for continuing such good practices in between the two institutions in future too.
