Dibrugarh University celebrates “Axom Divas” on 2nd December, 2022 . On this occasion Siu-ka-pha chair, Dept of History, Dibrugarh University organized a public lecture on the theme “Excavation, Protection and Preservation of Maidams of Charaideo”. The lecture was delivered by Dr.Nabajit Deori, Deputy Director, Department of Archeology(Assam).
As a part of the extention and outreach activities of Dibrugarh university, hundred elderly persons from the nearby areas were also felicitated on that occasion. The program began with welcome address of Prof. Jahnabi Gogoi, Chair professor,( i/c) Siu ka pha chair and inaugurated by Prof. Jiten Hazarika, Vice Chancellor (Dibrugarh University)
