A talk was organized by the Siu-Ka-Pha chair of Department of History, Dibrugarh University on 2nd December, 2021 on the occasion of Asom Divas (অসম দিৱস).
The talk was delivered by noted historian and retired Professor of Gauhati University Padmashri Dr. Jogendranath Phukan on the topic “Exploring the Route followed by Chao-Lung Siu-Ka -Pha”.
At the beginning, Prof. Nirode Boruah, Chair-Professor, Siu-Ka-Pha Chair, Dibrugarh University delivered the welcome speech. The Programme was inaugurated by Prof. L. K. Nath, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor i/c, Dibrugarh University . Prof. Jiten Hazarika, Registrar, Dibrugarh University also graced the occasion with his presence and a short speech.
