On September 23, 2020, a Scholarly Talk on Sampling Methodology was organized by Department of Commerce, Dibrugarh University for the Research Scholars of Commerce and Management discipline. Dr. Manash Pratim Barman, Associate Professor, Department of Statistics, Dibrugarh University was the Resource Person of the Talk. As the coordinator of the Talk, Dr. Jutimala Bora of the Department has welcomed the participants and introduced the speaker to them. Dr. Barman has elaborately explained the different sampling methodologies available in the Social Science Research and emphasized upon the sampling techniques that may be used especially when the population is not defined. The talk witnessed its closure with a parting note by the Head, Department of Commerce and a formal Vote of thanks by the Coordinator.
