Centre for Social Work Studies Hosts Workshop on Mindset Crafting for Working Professionally in the Social Sector

A positive and proactive mindset is crucial for both personal and professional development. To support this, the Centre for Social Work Studies at Dibrugarh University organized a three-day workshop titled “Mindset Crafting for Working Professionally in the Social Sector” for first-semester MSW students. This annual workshop, typically held within the first two months of the program, is conducted in partnership with Skillfinity, Guwahati, under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Dibrugarh University and Skillfinity.

This year’s workshop took place from August 28 to August 30, 2024, and was led by Mr. Anjan Choudhury, the founder of Skillfinity and a distinguished trainer with over 25 years of experience. Mr. Choudhury’s guidance has been pivotal in helping students develop a positive and constructive mindset essential for their academic and professional journeys.

The workshop also focused on mental health, fostering resilience, and encouraging a positive outlook, equipping students with the tools to effectively manage their studies and future careers. Participant feedback revealed that the workshop was highly beneficial in helping them navigate personal and academic challenges.
