Dibrugarh University in association with Dibrugarh District administration and NSS PG Unit, DU organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp as a part of three day celebration of Lachit Divas on 23rd November 2022 at Health Center, Dibrugarh University. The professional team of Blood Bank, Assam Medical College & Hospital provided all necessary support. The programme was inaugurated by Dr P.N. Sonowal, Registrar, DU in presence of Prof. Pankaj Dutta, the Chairperson of the organizing committee, Mr. Dwajen Sonowal, Convenor of the Organizing Committee, Dr. Himadri Barman, Member of the Organizing Committee, Senior Medical Officer of the Heath Center, Members of DUPGSU, NSS Volunteers of the unit and students of the University. The whole programme was led by Dr. Amar Upadhyaya, Programme Officer, NSS PG Unit, Dibrugarh University and senior volunteers Priyanus Hazarika, Abhijit Moran, Abnish Shah, Trishamoyee Borah, Saddam Hussain, Shiva Tanti and Aime Gogoi. Total 21 Units of Blood are collected.
