Area of Interests/Specialization:

My primary area of research is developing, analyzing and implementing finite element-based numerical methods for approximations of partial differential equations. Specifically, I am interested in developing robust efficient finite element methods for solving interface problems. Following are some of the research topics that I am focused on.

  • Implementing the Weak Galerkin FEM for different types of interface problems.
  • Virtual Element Methods for Hyperbolic problems.
  • A priori and A posteriori error analysis.
