On 31/08/2024 Department of Statistics, Dibrugarh University organised the 11th Awareness Program on the subject “Statistics” among High School students of Namsang TE Model High School, Joypur. Dr. Kuki Kalpita Mahanta and Dr. Kuldeep Goswami, Assistant Professors, Department of Statistics act as Resource Persons in the program. Mr. Rishabh Chakraborty and Mr. Johndeep Das, Research Scholars of the Department assist them during the program. Dr. Obja Borah Hazarika, Associate Professor, Department of Political Science, D.U. also present in the program. Mr. Debajit Ghosh, Principal of the school offers their sincere gratitude to the faculties of Department of Statistics, Dibrugarh University for taking this initiative. Dr. Kuki Kalpita Mahanta coordinated the program and around 150 students of Class IX and X take part in it.
