The Volunteers of NSS PG Unit Dibrugarh University organized an Online webinar on Introduction to Siddha System of Medicine and Importance of Eastern Science on 16th May 2023. Dr. PRIYANKA SEKARAN B.S.M.S, MD(S) A Passionate Siddha physician and an “AYUSH EXCELLENCE AWARD winner acted as resource person in the workshop. She emphasized on historical background of Siddha System of medicine to importance of Siddha System of medicine in dealing with modern severe diseases like COVID 19 & Cancer. The talk was centered around about how North East India can be benefited by Siddha and the role of NSS Volunteers in popularizing the concept among the peoples. Approximately 50 participants were in the webinar. Dr. Amar Upadhyaya, Programme Officer, NSS PG Unit, Dibrugarh University was also present in the programme. The whole programme was led by Kunal Agarwal and Parsha Das active volunteers of NSS PG Unit.
