Centre for Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Dibrugarh University won the First Prize in Bioideathon, at NEHU

A team consisting of 4 members from Centre for Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Dibrugarh University won the First Prize in Bioideathon at the National Seminar on Biological Sciences: A North East India Perspective Organized by Department of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, Meghalaya, India In Collaboration with Bio-Resources Development Centre (BRDC), Shillong & BioNEST Bioincubator facility, NEHU, Tura campus, Tura, Meghalaya, on February 28, 2023 – March 1, 2023. The team consisted of Dr. Sanchaita Rajkhowa, Assistant Professor, Centre for Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Dibrugarh University and three students, Manisha Agarwal, Safrina Zeenat Hussain & Sanjeeb Handique (M.Sc. 2nd semester, CBB, DU). Notably of the 21 teams participating in the event from various institutions such as Tezpur University, Royal Global University, North Eastern Hill University, Presidency University etc., the team were successful to bag the First prize and their work was well appreciated by the judges and jury members present in the competition.
