Bidyutjyoti Dutta, a research scholar from the Department of Chemistry as well as the president of DURSA got the Best Poster Award at the National Conference on Science for Society, Environment and Sustainability organized by CSIR-North East Institute of Science and Technology, Jorhat. The title of his poster presentation was “Designing a Task Specific Ionic Liquid for Synthesis of Quinazolinones via Multiple Pathways”. He is doing his doctoral research under the supervision of Prof. Diganta Sarma.
