As per the instruction of Ministry of Youth affairs and Sports, Govt. of India & Regional Directorate, NSS Guwahati vide letter no. 5/20/NSS-NER/2022-23/3050-3102 dated 17th October 2022, one day Massive Drive on Swachhata 2022 programme was conducted by NSS PG Unit in collaboration with Dibrugarh Municipality Board on 19th October, 2022. Total 50 Volunteers were participated in the drive along with the officials of Dibrugarh Municipality Board. The volunteers collected plastics from Thana Charali area, Dibrugarh DTP Dyke area and bank of Bhramaputra River. Each volunteer collected 2 kg of plastics and disposed at the garbage van of Municipality Board. The University is highly thankful to the DMB for support and cooperation. The Vice Chairman along with the other officials of the Dibrugarh Municipality Board was present throughout the drive. The whole programme was led by Dr. Amar Upadhyaya, Programme Officer, NSS PG Unit Dibrugarh University. The volunteers of the unit Priyanka Madaluwal, Abhijit Moran, Saddam hussain, Abnish Saha, Trishamoyee Borah, Koustuv Baruah, Padmajyoti Moran, Shiva Tanti coordinated the whole programme.
