96th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarakia is celebrated by Dibrugarh University Officers’ Association (DUOA) on 08.09.2022 at the DUOA-DUEA office hall. Prof. Surajit Borkotokey, Dept of Mathematics and Dean, Student Affairs graced the occasion as Guest of Honour and highlighted some of the magical creations of the legendary artist with his thoughtful words and melodious voice. Dr Paramananda Sonowal, Registrar, i/c was also present in the event which was chaired by Monuj Tamuli, president DUOA and attended by other Officers and employees of the University. A tree sapling was planted at the inception of the program to mark the occasion by Jatanta Kr Gogoi, General Secretary, DUEA.
