Centre for Studies in Physical Education and Sports Dibrugarh University organized Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament amongst faculties, officers, employees and research scholars of the University successfully from 20th May 2022 to 20th June 2022. Faculty of Education became champion by defeating Faculty of Biological Sciences. Employee Mr. Simanta Sonowal adjudged Player of the match. Dr. Devid Kardong , Program Coordinator, NSS, Dibrugarh University, Dr. Pankaj Chetia, Assistant Professor Life sciences, Dr. Kameswar, Assistant Professor, life sciences, Dr. O. Jiten Singh, Associate Professor, CSPESDU, Mr. Bipul Chutia, Athletic Secretary, DDSA, Mr. Bolin Nath, former president, DUEA gave away the prizes. The tournament was inaugurated on 20th May 2022. Prof. Jiten Hazarika, Registrar grace the occasion as chief guest, Mr Rohini Buragohain, Senior Assistant Registrar (Administration), Prof. Pankaj Dutta, Dept of Physics, Dr. Pankaj Chetia, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Life sciences, Dr. Kameswar, Dept of life sciences and Mr. Paban Talukder, Security Officer, Dibrugarh University were also presented as guests. Total 13 teams were divided in 4 groups played in league cum knockout basis. During the rainy sessions and unpredictable rains; the students of Centre for Studies in Physical Education and Sports, Dibrugarh University extend tremendous appreciable job to organized the event successfully.
