The Dibrugarh University Karate (Men and Women) teams participated in the 1st All India Inter University Karate organized by MDU, Rohtak Hariyana w.e.f 20.02.2018 to 25.02.2019. In Karate Men Section Mr. Sankar Payeng got bronze medal in – 84 kg weight category. In Women section Miss Bharati Bodo got Bronze medal in – 45 kg weight category and Miss Puzarani Bora, Miss Tribedi Dutta and Miss Dipanjali Payeng got Silver medal in Team Event Kata category. The Dibrugarh University Kick Boxing (Men and Women) teams participated in the 2nd All India Inter University Kick Boxing organized by Andra University, Viskshapatam w.e.f 08.03.2019 to 11.03.2019. In Kick Boxing Men section Mr. Tonmoi Dowarah got gold medal in – 75 kg full contact weight category and Mr. Rahul Gogoi got silver medal in – 70 kg full contact weight category.
