 “VANIJYA” is an annual research journal of Business Studies  of Department of Commerce, Dibrugarh University and it has regularly being published since the year 1989 having ISSN 0972-6594 as of Refereed Journal.

The scope of the journal encompasses the area like Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Marketing, Taxation, Management, Management Information System and allied subjects. However, the themes stated do not necessarily restrict the scope of the journal.

The publication of the paper in the Journal is subject to the recommendation of the independent reviewers and the decision of the Editorial Board. On publication of a paper/article no remuneration is paid but the author/s is entitled to get a copy of the journal free of charge. Any article paper not complying with the above requirement shall be outright rejected.

The Editor or the Editorial Advisory Board or the Publisher is not responsible for the views expressed by the authors or reviewers.

Guidelines for paper Contributor

One hard copy of manuscripts, typed in 1.5 space with font size. 12 typed in Times New Roman and a soft copy in MS Word format should be sent to the Editor before 30th September every year along with a declaration that the paper is neither published nor has been sent for publication elsewhere. The size of the manuscript should not be of more than 10000 words excluding figures, tables, footnotes, annotations and references. For book review the size of the write up is restricted to 1000 words. All tables should be included at the end of the paper in sequence and consecutively titled and numbered. However, an advance copy of the paper should be email to a_sahadib@yahoo.co.in
Each manuscript should contain an abstract of not more than 150 words. There should be a title page containing the name of the article, name of the author/s affiliation of the author/s and address for correspondence of the author/s. The name/s of author/s should not appear in the first page or any of the pages of the manuscripts to facilitate blind review.
References should be typed on a separate page double spaced, consecutively numbered at the end of the paper. It should state consecutively the name of author/s, the name of the book, name of the publisher, year and place of publication and page number. In case of Journal, after author’s name, within quotation marks the name of the article and thereafter, name of the journal, time and place of publication and page number consecutively.
The publication of the paper is subject to the recommendation of our independent reviewers and the decision of the Editorial Board. After submission of the manuscript no further correspondence in this context shall be entertained. On publication of a paper/article no remuneration is paid but the author/s is entitled to get a copy of the journal free of charge. Any article paper not complying with the above requirement shall be outright rejected.
